+ 26th June - "Super Pearson keeps up title charge at Croft"

BARC Club Class leader Ian Pearson made his sixth successive
wins after a superb weekend of racing at Croft.
After a good
start in the first race, Pearson, who has backing from MA Nicholls
and GT Tyres, of Didcot, was up to third due to a non-start
by the pole man.
He tried to go
with the two leaders, almost taking the lead of the race when
they made contact on lap four.
The Didcot man
kept the leaders in sight until lap nine when he made a slight
mistake in the fastest section of the circuit as a result of
badly-overheating tyres, and he did well to keep control of
the car.
He had to settle
for a position on the podium and another class victory.
In the second
race, Pearson gained another class victory giving him a healthy
47 point lead in the championship.

of the Formula Renault BARC Championship is on Sunday, July
24th at Thruxton.
