Oulton Park - 23rd May

Ian had an excellent qualifying session, claiming his 2nd pole position of the year by a massive 1.2 seconds. What was possibly more impressive was the fact that Ian's 7 fastest times were all quicker than his opposition could manage. Ian commented "I love Oulton Park, you can really get stuck in and get rewarded for your committment; I'm really happy with that."

Ian made a good get away and led into the first corner, finishing the first lap of the race with a commanding 1.3 second lead. This was the nearest Ian's rivals would get to him and from lap 3 onwards Ian pulled away at roughly 1 second per lap, finishing the race 11 seconds clear of his rivals.
